Serious funk from some serious musicians. Damon Albarn - there’s something special he’s putting in his water. Basic tracks, I believe, were recorded in Africa. I love the mash up of cultural influences on this track. Amazing artwork, too.

New Radiohead remixes. Jacques Greene’s remix of Lotus Flower really makes this track interesting in the second half by layering a jittery keyboard melody with manipulations of Yorke’s voice weaved throughout the mix.
I love how Radiohead/Thom Yorke/Godrich and Company have morphed into more of a DJ/beat driven collective. They continue the DJ collaborative aesthetic by allowing other DJs to remix their songs and giving the remixes equal respect as the originals. It’s clear Radiohead is thriving doing business on their own. Here are the three main ingredients that rule their business plan: surprise, collaboration, creativity.
